Finance Navigator

About Me

Hi, I’m Alex Goldsmith, a high‑school student from Atlanta, Georgia with an enduring curiosity about how money and markets work. I created Finance Navigator to demystify economics and investing for students and anyone else who feels overwhelmed by financial jargon. I love exploring how supply‑and‑demand, government policy and individual decisions shape our economy. When I’m not studying, you’ll find me building websites, reading investment books, tracking earnings calls or debating economic policy with friends.

I launched this site because many of my classmates felt intimidated by topics like budgeting, credit and investing. By breaking complex ideas into clear explanations and offering interactive tools, I hope to empower people to make smarter decisions—whether they’re saving for college, planning a monthly budget or buying their first mutual fund. I believe financial education should be available to everyone, not just those who study business.

Looking ahead, I plan to study business and eventually work in investment banking or private equity, where I can help companies grow using analytical skills. Until then, I’m continually expanding Finance Navigator with new articles and calculators based on your feedback. If you have suggestions or topics you’d like me to cover, please reach out—I’d love to hear from you. You can contact me at afgold00@icloud.com.
